The Taggiasca olive hails from Liguria (Genoa) Italy and is known for its fruity and delicate nature. This California grown Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes to us from a multi-Award Winning producer. It is mild to medium EVOO with a hint of almond and a pleasant, fresh aroma, with a light, smooth, buttery flavor profile that lends itself to unlimited recipes. Its low acidity and mild polyphenols translate to a superbly mild yet flavorful finish.

The Olive Tap's Taggiasca EVOO is perfect for those not wanting an intensely flavored Olive Oil. It is an absolute must for those that want to make Pesto in the original Genoese style. Excellent for seafood dishes and vegetables and is nice for bread dipping, too. Fantastic with many of our Balsamic Vinegars for salads!
