The Olive Tap's Chiquitita is a mild Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a sweet finish. This rare hybrid varietal is a relative newcomer to the world of EVOO. It was developed in Spain, and is a cross between the extremely popular mild Arbequina and robust Picual olives. Our Chiquitita EVOO is extremely well balanced and has an elegant and mild floral aroma and flavor profile featuring subtle Almond and Olive fruit notes.
This mild EVOO is well suited to be used in salads, vegetables, mild meats and seafood. If you have a favorite Olive Tap Vinegar that you want to stand out, this is the perfect oil. It will gracefully pair up with our Balsamic, Wine, Honey and Apple Cider vinegars and can also be used as a bread dipping oil that will excel with warm bread and seasonings.
