This is the best Balsamic vinegar with just a hint of fig. I wish I could just drink it as a beverage it's so good.
Delicious on vanilla ice cream, fig and salami sandwiches as well as salad and meat.
Smooth and flavorful.
We have been using the Fig Vinegar for the past 12 years. We've tried approximately 10 - 12 of the other vinegars and all are good but EVERYONE LOVES the Fig. It's thick and tasty. We started buying it when we lived outside of Chicago and now have it shipped to us in N. Carolina. We use it in tossed salads, on Caprese salad (Mozzarella topped with tomato and basil), with grilled asparagus and grilled Brussels sprouts. We bought 12 of the 375ml bottles in December and gave them to our neighbors for Xmas. They are now lovers of the Fig Vinegar and have started buying their own. We just received 6 of the 750ml bottles yesterday. It's our go to Balsamic Vinegar.
We have been buying the Fig Flavor for the past 7-8 years. My wife was given a bottle at a Xmas party. We were immediately hooked. Sweet and tangy without too mush acidity. Great for salads, greens and on our favorite, grilled asparagus. Our neighbors had it here and love it too. We just ordered 12 small bottles for Xmas gifts.
We first tried a sample of this product at the square in Pittsburgh and immediately bought a bottle. We love it and had to order 2 more (and got the larger size) so that we don't run out! Totally worth every single penny!
This fig balsamic has a deep color and depth. It is however not overpowering, almost delicate in flavor. Makes a delightful change in recipes and on salads. Worth the price and the shipping cost!
Love this one best of all.
I am on my 4th bottle and I absolutely love it, great on salads, I use it on all meats as a marinade and absolutely love it on roasted asparagus . Really good on pound cake and ice cream also.
From a new producer, our new Mission Fig Balsamic Vinegar takes the inherent complexity of aged balsamic vinegar and enriches it with the sweetness and warmth of sun-ripened figs, resulting in a balsamic vinegar that transcends the ordinary. This dense, balsamic vinegar exhibits a mild and mellow fig flavor with less “bite” due to a lower acid content. Not too sweet and not too tart, it can be paired with your favorite of The Olive Tap’s Extra Virgin Olive Oils.
Mission Fig Balsamic Vinegar is outstanding drizzled on Caprese Salad (Tomato, Mozzarella, Basil). We love it paired with Basil, Sorrento Lemon and Tuscan Herb Olive Oils for salads and marinades. For something special, try it on honeydew melon sprinkled with minced prosciutto and Parmesan cheese.
Remember to add a Pour Spout to your order for easy dispensing...
